the bedrooms were large and separate.
A PRIME location, great hotel. Nice design. The restaurant was located within 200 feet.
Beautiful hotel in a particularly good location. From there everything is super comfortable to reach.
Partly a little loud.
Spacious suite with 2 separate rooms, each with XXXL-size beds, kitchenette, large wet area
We had originally booked breakfast at a fixed price. That wasn't given to us. Have then renounced the breakfast completely.
Very nice location and nice garden to have a drink in the evening.
The room I had booked wasn't available when I arrived, so the personel upgraded me instantaneously (without any additional fees). The hotel is perfectly well located in the old Montreal (close to one of the international trade centers of the city, and close to very touristic areas with restaurants and shops), but note that it isn't exactly the center of Montreal (for parks, shopping or festivals). The room was great, very large and well disposed, giving all the comfort and luxury expected. The interior court for breakfast and lunches seems very pleasant (despite I didn't try myself the restaurant). The staff is really good (welcoming, handling of the luggage that I left them on my last afternoon, ...). a good hotel, that fits its reputation.
A very good hotel as I said. Few details anyway just for the record : the rooms (at least the one I was given) give the impression of having been used quite a lot already (tired carpets, marks on the sofa, ...). There is a little lack of luminosity despite the large windows (but mainly due to the trees of the interior court, and pretty pleasant finally in my opinion). And it misses just a little bit of additional space in the sleeping room itself (due to the disposition of the room, and not a big problem anyway). A very good hotel finally, that didn't disappoint me.
Beautiful room. Full of amenities I don't usually find in a hotel I stay at. We booked a superior loft but were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a terrace because they were out of the other room.
Breakfast was not included from what I was told at check-in. A very nice continental breakfast was set up in the lobby by the bar every morning that we had to walk by on our way out. Disappointing.
We loved the suite. It was well outfitted very clean and I loved the simple style. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the small feel of a first class hotel. We would stay again.
No dining due to renovations and no exercise room for the same reason. this was not stated on the cite and we found out when we arrived. Yes we could go down the street for an exercise place but it was just not as wonderful as it could have been. The coffee machine was perfect and made beautiful expresso. They gave 3 pods for the coffee maker and charged $2.50 for each additional pod. My son and I would have liked the 4th pod. for 250 we could have gotten a 4th pod. It said in the room plan that a variety of snacks were available. There were none. Oh well saved from the calories.
Walking around old Montreal & comfort of hotel
Very nice ambience (including fire and candles in the lobby area), large suite, fabulous location (perfect for wandering around Old Montreal, cafes, restaurants, and browsing the boutiques). In addition, I forgot something in the room, and the staff kindly agreed to send it directly to my home.
Staff, lobby, suite, furniture, amenities
Breakfast buffet not up to par i.e. Only one type/flavor of yogurt, poor selection and appearance of fresh fruit, strange-tasting orange juice, and no oatmeal! Also, no complimentary tea/coffee service/self-service 24/7
beautiful room, wonderful location and fantastic staff
The room was extremely comfortable and the staff was very helpful and amazing. Would definitely stay there again.
I wish that the restaurant had more food choices. Would have liked to eat there, but were not impressed with the menu.
The staff where very friendly and the location was perfect. Very clean and elegant room. Room service was spot on! Loved that it was located right on a cobblestone street, near the old port. Absolutely zero complaints about the room, staff or location. Stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Lots of nightlife too.
The restaurant was a bit pricey, although the food was really good, it was a bit rich for my stomach. But the staff there where also very nice and friendly.
Friendly staff, good location and nice room
Hair dryer had no guard fitted which potentially could have caused serious accident to my partners hair - not a laughing matter for a lady. It was replaced but the replacement dryer internal cut-out operated after only few minutes use even though air flow not impeded. In my opinion given that the missing guard was no where to be seen either the hair dryer had not been checked or someone was not looking when the dryer was bagged up for the room. All this was out of sync with rest of hotel facilities. Would also suggest you offer clients a little something like drink at the bar when they have occasion to find such an obvious fault.
